Coaches & Volunteers
The Rutland Junior Spartans welcomes new and returning coaches each season. If you are interested in coaching this year, whether you are new or returning, you need to:
2. Complete Safe Sport Training
3. Complete Background Screening
4. Complete Age Appropriate Modules
6. Register with RAHA
USA Hockey Membership, Safe Sport, Background Screen, Modules, and RAHA registration must be completed PRIOR to participating in ANY on-ice practices or games.
Clinics must be completed prior to December 31, 2025.
Coaches are required to wear a helmet at ALL times when on the ice.

The Rutland Junior Spartans welcomes new and returning volunteers each season. There are many opportunities to get involved with the team. Some volunteer roles include: running a game clock, keeping the score sheet, monitoring the penalty box and monitoring the locker room. Please note that volunteers are not allowed on the ice or benches. If you are interested in volunteering this year, whether you are new or returning, you need to:
